I purchased these earmuffs for my average sized 16 month old daughter to wear to a concert. She was more intested in playing with them than wearing them, but the noise level didn't seem to warrant it. They should really come in handy when we hit louder events. We tried them on my smallish 14 month old niece and she kept them on for quite a while. Bonus, they also fit me!

these were perfect for my 4 year old. he even has a large head...but they slide and adjust perfectly. my son has issues with loud noises, especially movies, and these have helped him be able to view a movie and actually enjoy it. they are comfortable for him to wear, and he actually asks for them at other times.

Bought these for our infant daughter to wear to loud events (concerts, sporting events, etc.).
The headband is not adjustable (though it's listed as being so) and this makes it hard to put into the right position on a child's head.
We had to keep adjusting it on our daughter when we used the product once, and it's hard to know if it will fit well at all the next time we do (what with kids growing so much).

We bought these so our infant girl could come to hockey games with us without being blown out by the speakers or the alarmingly loud horn used for goals. They were recommended to us by several other hockey fan parents and they work like a charm! She doesn't even mind having them on. They are so comfy my daughter has fallen asleep in them. They also adjust for any size head; my husband borrows them to use for ear protection while using his electric saws. Excellent purchase or gift for any sports fan with a baby or small child!
