5 out of 5 stars Save Your Kids' Hearing for $14? I'm In!   September 2, 2010
Megan Romer (Ithaca, NY)
My husband is a professional musician. This naturally means that we are around live music an awful lot. And live music these days is loud. Almost universally.

We got these earmuffs in lieu of earplugs (which can be a choking hazard for babies) and we're thrilled. They don't cancel ALL of the sound, so the baby can hear Daddy play. They're also not strong enough to make it safe to stand directly in front of the speaker stacks at a concert (theoretically, common sense also keeps any reasonable parent from doing this with their baby, but y'know...), so finding a nice spot near the middle or back of the crowd is still a safer bet.

When our little guy is wearing these 'phones, we get nothing but compliments. Seriously, random people will wander out of the crowd to tell us how smart we are. This is good for our egos, the 'phones are good for the baby's ears... everyone wins!

All kidding aside... for $14, how can you possibly go wrong? Start your kid wearing them as early as possible, so they know that they're mandatory when music is loud, and you won't have problems when the kid is older.

These are also a great, useful, unique, and inexpensive baby shower gift!

5 out of 5 stars Great for nationwide race   August 29, 2010
Melissa Reding
Wanted to take my 15 month old to a nationwide race but knew it would be louder than he could handle. At the start of the race we were in the infield and he had these on and handle the race fine. Think it will work great for fireworks and when my husband competes in shooting sports.

5 out of 5 stars Great product   August 27, 2010
Lily Toton
I purchased these for my 7.5-month-old so she could watch the Blue Angels. They worked beautifully. She wasn't bothered a bit by the noise, and another friend with a similarly-aged child fell asleep with hers on. Neither child was bothered by wearing them. We plan on using them again soon at a music festival.

5 out of 5 stars Very practical   August 27, 2010
Ashley Baldwin (c-u, il)
Very practical. We used them when my son was visiting his Grandpa at a noisy factory and we will use them when we go see Monster Trucks in January. Nice to have!

3 out of 5 stars Too small   August 17, 2010
Isaac's Momma (California)
It states it's for a child, it was too small for my average size 5 year old son. Just wished it was adjustable, but besides that, the earmuffs work great.
